Summer 2: Percy's Adventures

This topic is called Percy's Adventures!

In literacy we will be looking at the many different stories of Percy the Park Keeper.

We have learnt about the water cycle and how it works.

This week we have been doing a 'Weather Watch' and recording the types of weather in each country in the UK every day.

On Thursday it was our 'Empty Classroom Day'. We had a fantastic time in the wildlife area doing observational drawings. We used all our skills that we learnt in our Spring topic to help us. We also learnt about three types of clouds: Stratus, Cumulus and Cirrus! We made a fact page and also painted the different types of clouds. For our last session of the day we did our maths (addition and subtraction) in the car park! We chose some numbers from the different number plates and put them into number sentences and worked them out.
